Prepster In The Post: 5 easy steps to reuse an EOS

DIY Diva | 5 Easy Steps to Reuse an EOS
I live off of chap stick.  My lips are always dried and chapped.  Which means I go through chap stick like crazy!  Last year during all the gift giving I received 3 EOS, and now they are almost flat.  Instead of throwing them away, I have found a clever way to reuse them for traveling or at home.  Earring Holders!
The egg shape is perfect to fit a few pairs of earrings in when traveling! Here's a little How To:

First | Supplies: Scissors | Bobby Pin | Empty EOS chap stick

Second | Scrape the excess chap stick off of the egg.  I used a bobby pin, because what girl doesn't have one lying around? You'll get down to a little plastic web and try to get off as much of the chap stick as you can.
Third | Rinse out with water. {Both the lid and the bottom} You don't have to do this, but it helped me because it got off lots of the little pieces and the slippery texture that the chap stick gives.

Fourth | Take your scissors and carefully cut each limb of the web until the whole thing comes out.  Then remove the piece out of the egg and throw it away.

Fifth | Rinse out the lid and the bottom one last time to get everything out.  Then take a paper towel to get out the water, and your egg is ready for earrings!

Keeping it Classy and Classic,
-Bailey

Stylish Sassy and Classy: Sparkle & Plaid

Shirt: J.Crew (similar) | Button down: Free People (similar) | Jeans: American Eagle (similar) | Boots: Lane Bryant (similar)
Bag: Tory Burch | Boot socks: Free People | Earrings: J.Crew Factory | Bracelet: J.Crew Factory | Watch: Kate Spade

I love mixing up things like sparkle and plaid because, normally you would separate the two in your head, one if formal the other casual but together they look adorable. I sadly could not find a more similar sparkle t-shirt online this is from J.Crew last year, but I wear it so much around the holidays. So let me talk to you about these boot socks, they are so adorable I love all of Free Peoples boot socks, I cant get enough of them. Oh also for the random leaf picture, I know fall is pretty much coming to and end but we found this huge leaf at the arboretum and I couldn't resist, it was just so large. What is one of your favorite things to mix up in an outfit that you wouldn't normally put together? Happy early Thanksgiving everyone!!

Carrie On Blogs: Amy Ruth Designs

There always seems to be those few amazing brands that after one person writes a blog post about you feel like you want everything that company sells. For me, that company was Amy Ruth Designs! I saw her designs popping up on many different blogs and couldn’t get her adorable patterns out of my head! When she offered to send me some products I immediately jumped at the chance!

I have loved using all of the different school and office supplies she offers! I use the folders, obviously, to put papers in and I use the mini journals to jot down short lists and notes so I can easily carry around important information without weighing my purse down.

I love, love, love the planner because it has so much room to write not only assignments for class but also to-do lists!

Using her cute little tabs helps me keep track of what page I’m on!

Like most bloggers I tend to be quite type-A and organized so these journals are the perfect place for me to write my long to-do lists and stay organized, and the prints on the outside make me so happy!

A Pop Of Pink: The best scarf in the world

Wearing: Zara blanket, scarf (most similar here) | Urban Outfitters jacket (similar here) | Banana Republic sweater (love this year's version) | Steve Madden boots

This outfit consists of some of my favorite fall basics: a great pair of combat boots, a cozy sweater, and my trusty army jacket. These will continue to be wardrobe staples for me this season. It's just so easy to put together an outfit like this.

This scarf is without a doubt the best scarf in the world and the shining star of this ensemble. Beyond cozy. I am in love with the blanket, scarf trend this season. If you follow a lot of bloggers, then I'm sure you've seen this Zara scarf before. This was last year's scarf, and I was devastated when it was no longer available. Believe it or not, I actually found it on Amazon for around $23.

Luckily for you lovely readers, many companies have come out with their own version of the blanket scarf. I've shared some options with you below. The best part? All of these come at affordable prices, so you can buy one, two, or three!
